Those were the exact words spoken to me the day I stepped into my son's life. When you adopt a child you aren’t just signing papers; you are assuming a sacred responsibility. You are promising to be a anchor, a guide, and a protector. I took those words to heart. I knew that from that moment on, my life was no longer just about me. It was about becoming a daily blueprint for my son—a role model he could look up to in a world that so desperately needs positive leadership. True leadership isn’t always about the positions we choose, but about answering the unexpected call to step up, fill the shoes, and be the example.

Since that day, my life’s focus has shifted to one singular mission: to be the example in everything I do.

 

The Birth of a Movement

Living as an example isn't always easy. We all face difficult moments, heavy pressures, and circumstances that try to dictate who we are. But as a servant, I knew we are called to a higher standard. I wanted to build something that wouldn't just dress people, but would actively inspire them to rise above their environment and lead with positivity.

That is how Be The Example was born.

Rooted in the truth of 1 Timothy 4:12, this apparel brand was created to encourage people to be greater than their circumstances. We believe that no matter where you come from, what your past looks like, or what obstacles stand in your way today, you have the God-given power to set the standard for those watching you.
